The swift advancement of artificial intelligence(AI)technologies,including machine learning,deep learning,and generative artificial intelligence,has brought unprecedented opportunities to the field of intelligence research.With the empowerment of AI technology,the thinking patterns,task allocations,and research paradigms within intelligence research are experiencing profound and transformative changes.Currently,how to leverage this technological boon to maximize its benefits for intelligence research has become an important issue.This paper discusses the transformative impact of AI on intelligence research,reviews the progress of AI’s role in empowering such research from both technological and practical perspectives,and projects future trends in AI-enabled development within this field.Finally,the paper offers a series of suggestions for more effective incorporation of AI into future intelligence research efforts,considering essential factors such as core concepts,data accumulation,talent reserves,and technological innovation.
