摘要
《同情者》是美国越裔作家阮清越的长篇处女作小说,小说中蒙冤而死的幽灵重返现实世界且充分展现了自身形象的超越性特点。本文通过论述桑尼和酒仙少校幽灵跨越二元的边界身份、超越人类的非自然性和批判现实的道德教诲功能,构造了独立于二元世界之外并且赶超人类认知和道德水平的幽灵形象,展示了《同情者》中幽灵形象的超越性以及小说幽灵叙事高超的艺术化效果。
The Sympathizer is the first novel written by Viet Thanh Nguyen,a Vietnamese American writer.The ghosts who die of injustice in the novel returm to the real world and fully dermonstrate the transcendence of their own images.By discussing the ghosts'boundary identity which breaks up binary,their unnaturality which transcends human beings,and their moral function of criticizing reality,the paper portrays the ghost image that is independent of the dualistic world and surpasses human cognition and moral level.Therefor,it further shows the transcendence of the ghost images in The Sympathizer and the superb artistic effect of the novel's ghost narrative.
