中国大学英语分级教学35年:回顾、思考与展望——基于《大学英语教学指南》对新时代大学英语教学新要求的反思 被引量:4

摘要 自1985年以来,大学英语分级教学(分层教学)在中国历经35年的持续快速发展,先后吸引了几代大学英语教育工作者和研究者投身其中。本研究借助文献梳理与数据分析相结合的方法,回顾了中国大学英语分级教学的发展历程,将整个进程划分为破冰、发展、上升及调整四个阶段,梳理剖析了各阶段分级教改研究的核心内容以及总体发展趋势,反思并指出了35年以来取得的成绩和仍然存在的不足。《大学英语教学指南(2020版)》提出大学英语分级教学的目标及构建分级课程体系的相关要求。本研究在此宏观背景下深入探讨分析,希冀对全国各地高校下一阶段广泛开展校本特色的大学英语分级教学提供有益的启示和借鉴。 The past 35 years has witnessed a sustained and rapid development of the level-based college English teaching practice and research,drawing attention from generations of teaching practitioners and researchers in the field of China’s tertiary education.In this study,the relevant papers published since 1985 have been collected,holistically reviewed,critically examined and analyzed,so as to provide a rigorous overview of previous related studies.Based on an intensive exploration into the 4-stage development(i.e.the Ice-breaking Stage,the Developing Stage,the Rising Stage,and the Adjusting Stage)of level-based college English teaching curriculum,this study gives insights into the achievements that have been fulfilled,as well as the problems yet to be solved in the upcoming stage of college teaching practice and research.In view of the directive goals set on level-based teaching by College English Teaching Guidelines published nationwide in 2020,this study offers its original and substantial reflections and suggestions as an elicitation and reference for the extensive development of school-based college English curricula in various universities across the country in the near future.
