皖南古民居雕刻在岁月沉淀下彰显着人文的智慧、闪耀着艺术的光辉,也为现代化装饰设计提供了新的灵感与思路。以砖雕、石雕、木雕为主要形式的皖南古民居雕刻,主张就地取材、精工雕刻,追求审美价值与使用价值的和谐统一,在明、清两代达到发展顶峰,并分别形成鲜明特色和艺术风格,对不同历史背景下的文化、民俗、礼制观念、社会风貌具有深刻表达。皖南古民居雕刻的现代化应用,主要有仿制、装饰、解构等类型,但总体应用层次较浅、深度不足,并受到材料、工艺、传承等问题的制约,应用效果尚不突出,还需通过加强解构手法应用、突出文化内涵表达、创新雕刻材料及工艺、利用现代技术推进技艺传承等举措,为皖南古民居雕刻的现代化装饰设计夯实基础、创造条件。

The sculptures of ancient houses in the southern Anhui,under the precipitation of the years,demonstrate humanistic wisdom and shine with artistic brilliance,and also provide new inspiration and ideas for modern decoration design.The sculptures of ancient dwellings in the southern Anhui which are mostly in the forms of brick carvings,stone carvings,and wood carvings advocated to take the materials from the local area and make the carvings with refined techniques,and pursued the harmonious unity of aesthetic value and use value.They reached the peak of development in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and developed to respectively form their distinctive characteristics and artistic styles,whichcontain profound expressions of culture,folklore,etiquette conceptsand social style in different historical contexts.The modern application of ancient residential carvings in the southern Anhui mainly includes imitation,decoration,deconstruction,etc.,but the overall application level is relatively low,insufficient in depth.Besides,restricted by suchissues as materials,craftsmanshipand inheritance,the application effect is not outstanding.So,it is necessary to strengthen the application of deconstruction techniques,highlight the expression of cultural connotation,innovate carving materials and techniques and use modern technology to promote the inheritance of skills so as to lay a solid foundation and create conditions for the modern decorative design of ancient residential carvings in the southern Anhui.
