摘要
《妻子展览会》是日本无产阶级女作家平林泰子发表于1931年的短篇,讽刺性地刻画了当时日本社会中四对典型的夫妻群像。本文试从阶级与性别的视角,探讨文本的深层含义。群像之中,既有"沉睡"于资本主义制度下商品化的女性与权威化的男性,又有"觉醒"于社会主义运动中的被启蒙者女性与启蒙者男性,也有游走于二者之间的女性与男性。通过以上群像塑造,作者在肯定无产阶级运动积极一面的同时,也揭露了运动内部组织混乱的隐患与男权重塑的陷阱。由此,作者暗示只通过阶级斗争并不能完全实现女性解放,这正是平林泰子超前的女性解放思想的体现。
An Exhibition of Wives,a short story published in 1931 by Japanese proletarian female writer Hirabayashi Taiko,has ironically portrayed the images of four typical couples in Japanese society.This paper is designed to explore the deep meanings of the story from the perspective of class and gender.Among the four couples,there are commercialized females and authorized males "sleeping" in the capitalist system,enlighted female and enlighter male "awakening" in the socialist movement,as well as those who are in between.Through these couple images,the positive side of the proletarian movement is affirmed while at the same time,the hidden dangers of disorganization and patriarchy reshaping are exposed.It is therefore, as the author has suggested,female liberation cannot be fully realized through merely class struggle.In this way,Hirabayashi Taiko’s feminist thoughts towards ahead of her times are fully embodied.
