《第二语言学习中的学习者个体差异》述评

A Review of Investigating Individual Learner Differences in Second Language Learning

摘要 Springer出版社自2011年来,出版了一系列二语学习和教学相关领域的丛书,介绍了二语习得各领域多年的发展成果。本文将对2021年出版的《第二语言学习中的学习者个体差异》(Investigating Individual Learner Differences in Second Language Learning)进行评述。该书收集了11项个体差异因素在二语教学中的作用实证研究,为个体差异因素的研究提供了范例与研究视野。书中作者基于不同的理论视角,选取不同的研究话题、不同语言与文化背景的被试,采用不同的研究范式和方法,展示了个体差异研究涵盖的广泛视角。 Springer Publishing House has published a series of books on different facets of second language learning and teaching since 2011,presenting state-of-the-art developments in different fields.This article provides a review for one of the series“Investigating Individual Learner Differences in Second Language Learning”published in 2021.The book is a collection of 11 empirical studies on the role of individual differences in second language learning and teaching,providing examples and insights for those who are interested in the role of individual differences.The authors in this collection selected different research topics to explore the roles of individual differences from different theoretical perspectives by adopting different research paradigms and methodologies with participants from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.This collection presents readers a wide coverage and different perspectives for the research of individual differences in second language learning and teaching.
