摘要
不同学科的知识特点往往会影响其学科内作者在特定体裁文章中建构知识和实现交际目的的方式。本文基于Yang、Allison提出的结论部分语步结构和Hyland对于词块的功能分类,通过对人文社科和自然科学两大学科共120篇英语学术论文结论部分语步中词块使用情况的跨学科对比研究,结果发现,其主要差别为:自然科学英语学术论文结论部分在语步一"总结研究"中使用了更多研究导向词块;人文社科英语学术论文在语步二"评价研究"中使用了更多文本导向词块;在整个结论部分,相比自然科学,人文社科英语学术论文使用了更多的参与者导向词块。本文意在通过调查不同学科英语学术论文结论部分词块的使用情况,为学者们的英语学术论文写作提供帮助。
The characteristics of knowledge in different disciplines always affect the way in which authors construct knowledge and achieve communicative goals in their articles.Based on the moves of conclusion sections proposed by Yang&Allison and functional classification schema of lexical bundles proposed by Hyland,this paper investigated how lexical bundles are used in the moves of research article conclusions by studying 120 English research articles of humanities&social sciences and natural sciences,which include journalism,applied linguistics,law and physics,computer,materials.This study has shown that,English research articles of nature sciences use more research-oriented bundles in move 1 of conclusion sections,instead,articles of humanities&social sciences use more text-oriented bundles in move 2 of conclusion sections.Besides,compared to nature sciences,more participant-oriented bundles are used in research article conclusions of humanities&social sciences.This study aims to help researchers in writing their research papers by investigating the characteristics of research articles in different disciplines.
