中国散文英译的美学意境再现研究——以《故都的秋》张培基英译本为例

Study on the Reproduction of Aesthetic Artistic Conception in English Translation of Chinese Prose——Taking Autumn in Peiping by Zhang Peiji as an Example

艺术"意境"在中国古典文学领域中占据着重要地位。意境的营造在郁达夫所创《故都的秋》中体现为虚实相生、情景交融和韵味无穷。张培基英译本通过虚实互译、修辞增设、意象具化等策略再现了原文虚实相生的意境;通过焦点互换、主述互位、意味创立等策略重现了原文情景交融的意境;从色彩交融、韵律调谐、秋意咏叹等角度渲染了韵味无穷之意境。张氏译作从以上三个方面最大限度地还原了《故都的秋》凄清、寂寥、肃杀、悲怆的意境氛围,促进了中国散文美学意境的跨文化传播。

Artistic"conception"occupies an important position in classical Chinese literature.The creation of artistic conception is embodied in Yu Dafu’s Autumn in Peiping as combination of fiction and reality,blending of emotion and scenery,and lingering charm.In the English translation of Autumn in Peiping by Zhang Peiji,artistic conception of combination of fiction and reality is reproduced through such strategies as generalization and concretization,addition of rhetoric and embodiment of image;artistic conception of blending of emotion and scenery is reproduced through change of focus,transposition of theme and rheme and creation of meaning;artistic conception of lingering charm is achieved from the perspectives of color blending,rhythm tuning and autumn chanting.Zhang’s translated work reproduces the desolate,lonely,solemn and sorrowful atmosphere in Autumn in Peiping to the full from the above aspects.It sheds light on the spreading of aesthetic conception of Chinese prose to the rest of the world.
