Under the background of the increasing global attention to environmental protection and the continuous deepening of the concept of sustainable development,the printing and packaging field has actively responded by increasing investment in the research and development of new environmental protection materials.This paper mainly discusses the significance of new environmental protection materials in printing and packaging,elaborates in detail the main types of current new environmental protection materials,and provides ideas for the application of new environmental protection materials in printing and packaging,in order to reduce the waste of resources and the pollution to the environment caused by traditional packaging materials,and promote the sustainable development of the printing and packaging industry.
