With the rapid development of science and technology and the advent of the information age,in the complex modern bookbinding design,its formal beauty is quietly changing,and the design language is richer,which attracts more and more attention.This article attempts to explore the design relationships of formal beauty in overall shape,layout composition,material technology,and the reconstruction characteristics and changing rules of design elements such as shape,color,and texture combined with points,lines,and planes by analyzing examples of modern bookbinding design.And it points out that the discussion and research on the formal beauty of modern bookbinding design is a permanent topic,which must be continuously practiced on the road of development.
