佛典音義是傳統小學中的一種重要著作類型,《阿毗達磨大毗婆沙論》之慧琳“音義”的校勘實踐證明:其整理需要遵循内外結合的原則,該原則表現爲溯源求真法、内證糾誤法、據文意勘正法、據文例求實法、梵漢對勘法等多種校勘手段。
Sound and meaning texts of Buddhist Scriptures is a crucial component of traditional Chinese philological study.The practice of the proofreading of Abhidhamma Mahaparinirvana(《阿毗達磨大毗婆沙論》)of Sound and Meaning compiled by Huilin(慧琳)proves that its collation needs to follow the principle of combining internal and external materials.This principle can be demonstrated in various proofreading methods:seeking truth from the source,correcting errors by internal evidence,calibrating texts according to their meanings,seeking original texts according to the textual examples,contrasting Sanskrit and Chinese,etc.
