In seismic prospecting,optical fiber cable is mainly used for data transmission between the instrument host and the link and cross-station.The stability of 428 XL and G3 i optical fiber cable which widely used in the wild directly affects the progress of field operation.This paper summarizes the faults and solutions in the cable maintenance,and puts forward some suggestions for field operation.
