Deng Xiaoping’s Strategies and Practice During Baize Uprising:Take His Flexible Respond to the “Leftist-inclined” Mistakes of Higher Authorities as An Example

在发动百色起义、创建左右江革命根据地期间,邓小平领导当地党组织灵活应对上级"左"倾错误指示,与国民党左派建立革命统一战线,壮大革命队伍;摆脱"城市中心论"的束缚,将工作重心由城市转移到农村;抛弃中央关于攻打大城市的"左"倾冒险主义错误指示,保存了红军基干力量,将革命工作引向正确轨道。

During the launch of Baise Uprising and the establishment of Zuojiang and Youjiang Revolutionary Bases,Deng Xiaoping led the local party organization to flexibly respond to the instructions of“Left-deviated”mistakes,established a revolutionary united front with the leftists of the Kuomintang,and strengthened the revolutionary team.He got rid of the shackles of the“urban centralism”,and shifted the focus of work from urban areas to rural areas.He abandoned the wrong instructions of“Left-deviated”adventurism about attacking large cities by the central government,which preserved the backbone of the Red Army,and steered revolutionary work on the right track.
