摘要
随着Micro-LED技术的高速发展,玻璃基拼接显示技术逐渐成为面板厂需要解决的重要课题,直接决定了在大尺寸商业显示甚至家用电视产品方面的产品力。目前从公开技术上来讲,京东方选择了侧边引线技术作为其玻璃基产品主要的无缝拼接解决方案,不过该方案需要双面制程,工艺相对较为复杂。针对此,京东方进一步公开了一种全新的曲面弯折拼接技术。该技术围绕中性层概念进行膜层结构模拟和匹配,成功地将显示基板上非显示区域通过曲面弯折的方式折叠到显示区背面,边框宽度仅为150μm,和现有量产技术持平。但由于背板制程只需要单面工艺,成本可以得到有效降低,为京东方在拼接显示技术方面提供了又一种可行方案。
With the rapid development of Micro-LED display technology,glass-based splicing solution has been an important research topic for display companies,and will play a critical role in production capability on large sized business displays and even household televison.Publicly,BOE has applied the side wiring technique as the main solution on glass-based Micro-LED splicing displays.However,this technique needs a dual-surface back plane,which is relatively complicated.Therefore,BOE has further revealed a novel bending technique.Based on the simulation of bending neutral layer and matchup of the layered structures,the non-display areas of the Micro-LED panel can be folded to the back surface of the display areas,with a curved border as narrow as 150μm,which is equal to the current mass-production level.Considering the single side backplane manufacturing process,the cost can be lower,which makes the bending technique a promising solution to the splicing Micro-LED displays for BOE.
