The Comments of the Studies on Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Cultural Construction

一个大国要成长为强国,不仅要看以经济为主要内容的硬实力指标,还要看以文化为主要内容的软实力指标。对文化领域的研究始终是学界的研究热点之一。党的十八大以来,习近平既继承前人,又勇于开拓,结合新的发展形势对我国文化建设作出了新的理论概括,形成了习近平文化思想。与此同时,国内外学者掀起了研究习近平文化思想的热潮,并取得一系列颇具价值的研究成果,如国内学者对习近平论中国特色社会主义文化发展道路、习近平论社会主义核心价值观、习近平论中华优秀传统文化、习近平论意识形态的研究;国外学者关于习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的文化背景、习近平文化自信论述等方面的研究。

If a big country wants to grow into a powerful one,it relies on not only the hard power indexes mainly manifested as economy,but also the soft power index mainly manifested as culture.The studies made in the field of culture have always been the hot spot in the academic circle.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping has not only inherited his predecessors but also had the courage to pioneer.He has made new theoretical summary of China's cultural construction in consideration of the new development situation,and thus Xi Jinping's Thoughts on Cultural Construction has come into being.At the same time,there comes a wave of researching on Xi Jinping's Thoughts on Cultural Construction by scholars at home and abroad and then a series of valuable research results have been achieved,such as domestic studies on Xi Jinping's discussion on the path to development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,Xi Jinping's discussion on core socialist values,Xi Jinping's discussion on fine traditional Chinese culture,Xi Jinping's discussion on ideology,etc.,as well as foreign studies on the cultural background of socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics,Xi Jinping's discussion on cultural self-confidence,and so on.
