Multi-dimensional Examination of the Confidence of Socialist Rule of Law with Chinese Characteristics in the Context of “Four Self-confidence”

作为"四个自信"的有机组成部分,法治道路、法治理论、法律制度、法治文化同样要求我们应当有高度的自信。从法律的功能和特性来看,法治自信是可欲可期的,也是可行的;从历史维度看,中华优秀传统文化为法治自信提供了丰富的精神滋养;从理论维度看,马克思主义理论为法治自信提供了科学理论支撑;从价值维度看,社会主义法治的人民性为法治自信提供了力量源泉;从实践维度看,社会主义法治的良性发展为法治自信提供了现实依据。坚定法治自信,应当立足"良法善治"的基本思想,在立法、执法、司法、守法以及构建法律话语体系等方面增强人民对社会主义法治的信仰。

As an organic part of the "four self-confidence", the road to the rule of law, the theory on rule of law, legal system, the culture of rule of law also requires that we have a high degree of self-confidence. From the perspective of the functions and characteristics of law, self-confidence in the rule of law is predictable and feasible. From the perspective of history, the excellent traditional Chinese culture provides abundant spiritual nourishment for the confidence in the rule of law. From the theoretical dimension, Marxist theory provides scientific theoretical support for confidence in the rule of law. From the value dimension, the people’s character of the socialist rule of law provides a source of strength for the confidence in the rule of law. From the practical dimension, the benign development of the socialist rule of law provides a realistic basis for the confidence in the rule of law. To strengthen confidence in the rule of law, we should base ourselves on the basic thought of "good law and good governance", and strengthen people’s faith in the socialist rule of law in the aspects of legislation, law enforcement, judicature, law-abiding and the construction of legal discourse system.
