河北邱县唐袁翼夫妇墓发掘简报

The Excavation of the Tomb of Yuan Yi Couple from the Tang Dynasty at Qiuxian County in Hebei

2018年8月,河北省邱县翰林公馆住宅区施工过程中发现一座砖室墓(编号M1)。邯郸市文物保护研究所与邱县文物保护管理所联合对该墓进行了抢救性发掘。该墓位于邱县县城东部,人和大街西侧,新城路以南(图一)。墓葬出土器物丰富,且有墓志,纪年明确。根据志文可知,该墓为东汉袁绍后人唐代县令袁翼夫妇合葬墓。现将墓葬发掘情况简报如下。

An ancient tomb was discovered at Qiuxian County in Handan city in Hebei Province during a capital construction in August 2018.A rescue excavation was carried out on this tomb by the Handan Municipal Institute of Conservation of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the Qiuxian County Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.This is a single brick chamber tomb entered by a sloping passageway,and comprises three sections:an entrance,a corridor,and a tomb chamber.The orientation of the tomb is 186 degrees.More than 60 burial objects were found,including pottery and bronze objects,although most of these were pottery figurines in the forms of warriors,capped figures,officials,performers,Kunlun slaves,and human-animal hybrid figures.There were also some animal figures of camels,horses,and oxen.Based on the features of the burial objects,the pottery figures were probably the products of the Xingyao kiln.The epitaph found in the tomb provided information about the tomb owner,a Yuan Yi couple,who died in the first regnal year of Wenming in the reign of the Tang Emperor Zhongzong.It is very rare to find Tang tombs in the Handan area.This tomb is well dated with rich burial objects.It is very valuable for establishing the chronology of the tombs of the Sui and Tang Dynasties in this area.
