Summary of Speech at the International Academic Forum on“International Dance Day 2022:Dance and Tradition——Aspects of Traditional Dance”

2022年是“国际舞蹈日”创立40周年,由国际戏剧协会上海代表处、上海戏剧学院主办,上海戏剧学院舞蹈学院、《当代舞蹈艺术研究(中英文)》编辑部承办,上海国际舞蹈中心发展基金会、上海戏剧学院附属舞蹈学校支持的“2022国际舞蹈日:舞蹈与传统—传统舞蹈的多元面向”国际学术论坛暨上海高校国际青年学者论坛于2022年10月14—15日召开。论坛以线上、线下相结合的形式进行,来自国内外20多所高校和研究机构的86名知名专家、优秀青年学者相聚云端,分享学术成果。在论坛的大会发言环节中,11位知名学者基于舞蹈艺术现象,在“舞蹈与传统”的主题下展开全面探讨,涉及历史、创作、教育、美学、传播等多个范畴,尤其是对传统舞蹈文化的内涵、价值,以及身份认同、创作规律的当代转化等问题进行了深入思考。在论坛闭幕式中,3位知名学者分别探讨了“传统”的概念及其文化价值、传统舞蹈在当代如何传承和发展、舞蹈如何在新的时空中创建新的样态等问题,这些讨论使论坛议题有了更新的推进。本刊梳理了这14位学者的发言纪要,以期广大读者进一步多维度、多视角地思考关于“舞蹈与传统”的诸多问题。

2022 will be the 40th anniversary of the founding of“International Dance Day”.Sponsored by the Shanghai Representative Office of the International Theatre Institute,Shanghai Theatre Academy,organized by the School of Dance,Shanghai Theatre Academy,the Editorial Department of Contemporary Dance Research(Chinese/English billingual),and supported by the Shanghai International Dance Center Development Foundation and Shanghai Dance School,the“2022 International Dance Day:Dance and Tradition—Diverse Aspects of Traditional Dance”International Academic Forum and Shanghai University International Youth Scholars Forum was held from October 14 to 15,2022.The forum was a combination of online and offline,with 86 well-known experts and outstanding young scholars from more than 20 universities and research institutions at home and abroad gathered to share academic achievements.In the speech session of the forum,11 well-known scholars,based on the phenomenon of dance art,launched a comprehensive discussion under the theme of“Dance and Tradition”,involving history,creation,education,aesthetics,communication and other fields,especially the connotation and value of traditional dance culture,and the contemporary transformation of identity and creation laws.At the closing ceremony of the forum,three renowned scholars respectively discussed the concept of“tradition”and its cultural value,how traditional dance can be inherited and developed in contemporary times,and how dance can create new forms in new time and space.These discussions have given the forum agenda a new impetus.The journal summarizes the speeches of these 14 scholars,hoping that readers can further think about issues about“dance and tradition”from multiple dimensions and perspectives.
