跨文化表演研究的视角刍议

Perspectives on Intercultural Performance Studies

跨文化表演及其研究越来越多,比起早期巴厘舞蹈与梅兰芳的经典案例,当今跨文化表演研究的选题难度越来越大。不同文化有不同的视角,研究选题不能依据新闻选题标准只求新奇。选题既要看其在原文化中的代表性,也要看对研究者文化的借鉴意义。就舞蹈的跨文化表演研究而言,包括锅庄舞、各民族社群舞蹈在内的中国广场舞极富特色,参与人员与服务对象人数最多,很有代表性,应纳入研究领域,也很值得在国际上介绍。音乐剧舞蹈是西方最常见的舞蹈之一,因不是纯舞蹈易被忽略,其大众导向及跨文化特质亦很值得研究借鉴。

As the number of intercultural performances has increased,so to have the number of studies related to them.The result has been to make the studies more complex and nuanced,especially when compared with studies related to more traditional theatre styles.As different cultures have different perspectives,topic selection cannot be based on news headlines or novelty.Instead,topic selection depends on its typicality in the original culture as well as its relevance with the researcher’s own culture.As far as studies on the intercultural performance of dance are concerned,Chinese"square dances",including Tibetan bonfire dance and the community dances of various ethnic groups,have unique characteristics but are very popular,so they are highly representative.They should be included in studies and are worthy of international communication.Musical dance is one of the most common dances in the West.Because it is not a pure dance,it is easily overlooked in dance performance studies.Its popularity and intercultural characteristics make it worthy of study.
