该文通过分析白居易的悲剧诗《长恨歌》与莎士比亚的喜剧《无事生非》,从两位作者所处社会环境、创作背景着手,在主人公唐玄宗与杨贵妃、克劳狄奥与希罗之间的故事简要阐述并整理故事线索之后,将两位作者对于引人注目的故事情节与高潮转折的处理方法进行深入对比分析,尤其是两位诗人解决故事矛盾时刻画的人物与异曲同工的解决方式。最后,浅谈他们作品获得的评价,以及对文学界的深远影响。

The main content of this thesis is a comparative analysis of Bai juyi’s poem of tragedy, "A Song of Unending Sorrow" and Shakespeare’s comedy "Much Ado about Nothing". To begin with the society where the two authors were then and their respective background based on. Consequently, give a view of two stories and the leading characters, Emperor xuanzhong of Tang and Yang guifei, Claudio and Hiro, along with organizing the clue of both stories. Next, make a comparison between Bai juyi and Shakespeare to conclude and analyze some similar compelling plots of the poetry and writing strategy of climax period and turning period. Especially the characters whom they invented to put contradicts in order and such particular solutions they adopted by the different approaches but equally satisfactory results that two authors had chosen. In the end, conclude reviews on the poets’ other works briefly and refer their farreaching influence in the literary world.
