民族主义风潮中的《一千零一夜》

The One Thousand and One Nights in the Wave of Nationalism

《一千零一夜》在18世纪初被翻译成法语后,为欧洲文学由古典主义向浪漫主义的转型提供了契机和素材,众多移译本对东方国家的形塑也契合了欧洲民族主义的发展乃至殖民扩张的意识形态和文化需求,而它回归东方的过程,也无疑体现了阿拉伯世界民族主义思潮的发展。本文不仅回溯了这一过程,并对它在阿拉伯世界重生的诸多面向进行呈现与分析,同时对其中应注意的问题陈述了一得之见。

The Thousand and One Nights,translated into French in the early 18th century,has provided opportunities and materials for European literature to change from classical literature to romantic literature.The way Eastern countries were shaped in numerous variants also meets the ideological and cultural needs in the development of nationalism and in the colonial expansion process in Europe.Furthermore,the process of its return to the East is a doubtless reflection of the development of the trend of nationalism in the Arabic world.This paper traces back this process by presenting and analyzing various aspects of its renewal in the Arabic world,and expresses opinions on some problems that should be paid attention to.
