桂枝是一味在临床经常使用的中药,味辛、甘,性温,具有发汗解肌、温通经脉、助阳化气、平冲降气的功效。通过查阅历代本草、现代文献,从桂枝品名、产地、性味归经、功效主治及经方配伍等多方面进行疏理考证,以便为现代临床医师和研究者提供理论依据和研究方向。

Cassia twig is a traditional medicine which is used in chinic frquently,it tastes pungent ands weet,the nature is warm.It has the effect of sweating and releasing muscle,warming and dredging meridians,promoting Yang and reducing Qi,and calming down Qi.Now through consulting herbal books and searching for mordern literature.This paper makes a textual research from the aspects of name,ori-gin,nature and flavor of Cassia twig,efficacy and prescription compatibility,so as to provide relevant theoretical basis and research direc-tion for modern clinicians and researchers.
