Honghe 922 is a new maize variety developed by Ningxia Honghe Seed Co.,Ltd.It is suitable for spring planting as a single crop in areas in the southern mountainous regions of Ningxia with effective accumulated temperature above 2500℃(elevation below 1800 m).The variety exhibits high and stable yields,good adaptability,early maturity and strong resistance to lodging.In 2022,it was officially approved and named by Ningxia Crop Variety Approval Committee.This article elaborates on the breeding process,variety characteristics,yield performance,suitable regions,cultivation techniques and seed production techniques of Honghe 922.
