An Overview of Cultural Relics and Archaeology in Urad Middle Banner

乌拉特中旗地跨后套平原北侧的阴山山脉山前、山后,历史上遗留下来的文物较为丰富,既有北方游牧民族遗存,亦有中原农耕文化遗存。本文重点介绍了朔方郡汉长城、北魏德岭山古城、唐代新忽热古城等中原农耕文化遗存,并探讨了汉唐时期这一地区中原王朝的军事防御体系。

Urad Middle Banner Crosses the front and back of the Yinshan Mountains in the north of Houtao plain.There are rich cultural relics left in history,including the remains of nomadic people of the north and the farming culture in the Central Plains.This paper focuses on the Han Great Wall of Shuofang County,the ancient city of Delingshan in the Northern Wei Dynasty,and the Xinhure ancient city of Tang Dynasty,discusses the military defense system of the Central Plains Dynasty in this area during the Han and Tang Dynasties.
