为了更好地理解沙被的概念,促进沙被概念的应用,文章对沙被概念的内涵和外延进行了解释、说明,阐述了沙被的规模(面积和厚度)、形态与微形态、规模与其生态效应的关系,以及沙被成因和确定沙漠、沙地边界范围的依据。认为沙被概念具有一定的理论意义和应用价值。同时,探讨了沙被属于沙汇还是沙源、沙被生态系统的适度保护和利用,以及生态建设与修复需要关注的问题。

In order to better understand the definition of sand cover,and promote the practical application of the definition of sand cover,this paper explains the connotation and extension of the explanation,description,and expounds the scale(area and thickness),morphology and micro-morphology,and the size of sand cover and its ecological effect are expounded,and discusses the causes of formation of sand cover,determine the scope of the sand desert,sand land.The paper holds that the definition of sand cover has certain theoretical significance and application value.At the same time,some problems of whether sand cover is a sink or a source,the appropriate protection and utilization of sand cover ecosystem and the problems that need to be paid attention to in the ecological construction and restoration are discussed.
