The Centennial Process, Experience and Enlightenment of the Communist Party of China in Maintaining Ideological Security

建党百年来,中国共产党维护意识形态安全经历了四个时期,积累了丰富而宝贵的历史经验。这些经验概括起来主要包括:坚持马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位,坚持党对意识形态工作的绝对领导,坚持以人民为中心的意识形态工作导向,坚持推进马克思主义中国化时代化大众化建设。在全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程中,必须发挥意识形态的维护功能,全力保障国家政治安全;发挥意识形态的导向功能,引领社会主义文化前进方向;发挥意识形态的凝聚功能,聚焦服务社会主义现代化建设。

In the 100 years since the founding,the Communist Party of China has gone through four periods of constructing and maintaining the ideological security and has accumulated rich and valuable historical experience,which can be summarized and classified into four types:adhering to the guiding role of Marxism in the ideological domain,adhering to the Party’s absolute leadership over ideological work,adhering to the people-centered philosophy to orient the ideological work,and persisting in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and promoting modernization and popularization of Marxism.In the new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way,the maintenance function of ideology will benefit the national political security,the guiding function will help to lead the direction of socialist culture and the cohesive function will contribute to focusing on serving the construction of socialist modernization.
