物质性与个体化:网络热播纪录片中传统文化的话语机制及当代转化

Objecthood and Individualizing: Discursive Systems and Contemporary Transformations of Traditional Culture in Internet Documentaries

以《如果国宝会说话》《风味人间》等为代表的传统文化题材纪录片的网络热播,成为当代中国的一个重要文化现象。在传统文化的传承与创新语境中,这类纪录片既受到了观众的追捧,也引发了关于"贩卖乡愁""厚古薄今"的反思。本文采取批判话语分析的方式,探讨了网络流行纪录片在视听层面的物质性和叙事层面的个体化这两个对于传统文化的话语表述策略。基于此,传统文化经历了去语境化到再语境化的过程,成为当代青年观众群体自我认同和建构日常生活意义的方式,为传统文化的当代转化提供了一条特殊路径。

It is now an important cultural phenomenon that documentaries about traditional culture such as Every Treasure Tells a Story and Once Upon a Bite are getting popular on internet.Considering the heritage and transformation of traditional culture,these documentaries earn not only big amount of audiences but also critics of"selling nostalgia"and"laying too much stress on the past than today".This paper carries out a method of critical discourse analysis and discusses two discursive strategies of depicting traditional culture in internet documentaries,saying objecthood at the level of audio-visual language and individualizing at the level of narrative practice.Within this kind of discursive systems,traditional culture has been firstly decontextualized from its historical background and then recontextualized into the current society,offering a unique way for traditional culture to achieve its contemporary transformations.
