林芙美子战时作品中对真相的隐瞒与自我满足——以“南京”记述为中心

Fumiko Hayashi’s city on her way to war assistance:Nanjing

1937—1938年,林芙美子作为从军作家先后两次来到南京。1937年底她进入惨遭大屠杀的南京城,却用笔呈现了一个一派祥和的城市,屏蔽了南京城的真实状况。9个月后,她作为第一批侵华“笔部队”陆军班成员再次来到中国战场,并因身体原因在南京休整。本文通过分析其执笔的战地报告《北岸部队》内容,深刻揭示了林芙美子作品的真实面貌。她用日记体的形式“记录”了这两周的生活琐事和个人随想。相比战场上的惊心动魄,这些记录琐碎、平淡,并无出奇之处,但她始终聚焦个人且片段化、情绪化的记述,实际上是碎片化了她所在的“南京”,再次遮掩了在战争中惨遭破坏与屠杀的南京的真实状况,使她的报告具有鲜明的对外对己的双重欺瞒性。在南京,她没有停下脚步反思,反而重振身体和身份的双重欲望,在协助侵略的道路上走得越来越远,具有不可推卸的战争罪责。

Between 1937 and 1938,Fumiko Hayashi came to Nanjing twice as an army writer,and at the end of 1937,she entered the massacred city of Nanjing,but used her pen to present a peaceful city,shielding it from the real situation.9 months later,she came to the Chinese battlefield once again as a member of the fi rst group of invading“pen troops”and due to health reasons,she recuperated in Nanjing,experiencing a tranquil two weeks.By analyzing the contents of her penned war report“North Shore Troops”,this paper deeply reveals the true face of Fumiko Hayashi’s work.She used the diary form to“record”the trivial matters of life and personal thoughts during these two weeks.In comparison to the heart-stopping events on the battlefield,these recorded details may seem mundane and unremarkable,but she consistently focused on personal and fragmented accounts,laden with emotions.In eff ect,she fragmented the essence of the“Nanjing”she was in,once again obscuring the true conditions of Nanjing,endowing her report with a distinct dual deception,both for external and internal audiences.In Nanjing,she did not stop to reflect,but instead revitalized her dual desires of body and identity to go further and further down the road of assisting the invasion.
