Records show that the integration of ethnic minority college graduates into their hometown workforces has significantly enhanced the quality of rural labor, advanced science and technology in local industries, and aided in the realization of their personal achievements. However, many of these graduates from rural areas often possess insufficient professional knowledge, lack necessary employment skills, and show limited initiative in job searching. Therefore, this study suggests universities should offer tailored guidance to these students, assisting them in their job hunt back home. This support should, moreover, encompass academic advising, career planning, and job-seeking assistance while fostering connections between homes, schools, and businesses.Such efforts will likely enable these graduates to contribute more effectively to the revitalization of their rural communities.Findings have also shown that the implications of“Personalized Guidance for Ethnic Minority College Students Returning for Employment”have been threefold:1)Personalized and universal guidance are not opposites;they form an organic whole.Universal guidance typically involves universities making concerted efforts, both in formal and additional learning sessions,to equip minority students with employment-related skills, while personalized guidance tailors this approach to offer individualized advice.2)Successful hometown employment appears to require minority students to possess relevant professional skills and a willingness to contribute to local economic development, technological enhancement of local businesses, economic transformation, and the realization of their personal goals.3)Ethnic minority graduates returning to their hometowns for employment involves more than just securing a job and earning a livelihood. This process requires the integration of their professional education, career planning, and employment guidance to foster an effective hometown employment strategy, where collaboration between family units, schools, and businesses has proven to be crucial for success. This article proposes that colleges should first develop a responsive academic support and employment guidance system tailored to minority students'specific needs. This would involve adapting pedagogies to their professional interests, learning habits, and needs for bespoke support,as well as encouraging diverse and innovative activities.Engaging top students and student party members in mentoring roles can enhance this process.Additionally, showcasing successful minority student examples, both online and in real life, may help foster a positive and focused learning environment as well as personalized employment mentoring.Secondly, results indicate college counselors have played a pivotal role in guiding ethnic minority students returning home for employment.Consequently they should conduct individual career planning interviews, utilizing their expertise to understand each student's specific needs and design tailored consultation strategies. This personalized approach can enhance students'competitive edge when they go back to their hometowns.Thirdly, the success of ethnic minority students returning home for career purposes hinges on family support and the availability of suitable jobs at local industries and enterprises. While colleges provide education and training, families influence employment choices, and hometown enterprises ideally offer job opportunities. Thus, enhancing collaboration among homes, schools, and businesses is crucial for facilitating this process. It is,finally, important to challenge traditional employment concepts and develop new,high-quality university-industry partnerships.
