交叠融合 合之又合:华夏族群形成早期几次关键性融合事件

Merging and Blending,Integration after Integration:Crucial Integration Events during the Early Stage of the Formation of Chinese Nation

中华民族是当今中国多民族共同体的统称,也是历史上多元一体的华夏族群滚雪球般发展壮大的结果。华夏族群的发展过程自秦汉以来比较清晰,不过在秦汉之前也已经过不同族群与文化交叠融合、合之又合的深度融合,奠定了以文化认同为主要内容的内核与发展机制。本文试图以考古发现与认识为线索,勾勒从距今万年左右区域性的农业文化产生以来,在环境与经济、社会互动的过程中,早期中国发生过的几次重要的族群与文化融合事件,以及华夏内核形成的过程与机制。

“Chinese nation”is a collective term for the multi-ethnic community of China at present,and also the historical result of Chinese nation developing,expanding in unity with diversity for thousands of years.The course of development of the Chinese nation is comparatively more distinct since the Qin and Han dynasties;yet for the time before Qin and Han dynasties,the Chinese nation had gone through several in-depth integration events by culturally merging,blending and integrating with other ethnic groups,thus established the core and development mechanism for the Chinese nation with cultural identity as its main element.By combing through archaeological discoveries,this article aims to outline several crucial ethnical and cultural integration events in the process of interactions between environment,economy and society in China since the emergence of regional agricultural civilization around ten thousand years ago,and to explore the process and mechanism that give birth to the core of the Chinese nation.
