摘要
字—画是浪漫主义艺术中联想的极端形式之一。它主要针对亚里士多德的诗歌模仿论、新古典主义太客观地对待文字之问题,强调想象对文字的激活作用,想象在诗歌中的核心作用,将想象的状态作为诗歌与绘画的理想状态,是引发自我联想与其他人联想的艺术。代表性学者有赫德、狄德罗、卢梭、柯勒律治、黑兹利特、夏多布里昂等。其合法性范围是,诉诸所有艺术的联想。其所用方法主要是文学方法。其对现代艺术家地位、艺术流派(现代印象主义派、现代描述派),艺术形态(诗乐、诗的散文等)有重要影响。
Word-Painting is one of the most extreme forms of“Suggestiveness in Romantic Art”.It mainly focuses on the poetic theory of“mimesis”,neoclassicism which treat words too objectively.Word-painting is the art that suggests them to one's self and to others,which focuses on imagination's function of activating words,imagination's central place in poetry,and treats the state of imagination as the ideal state of poetry and painting.The word-painters include Herder,Diderot,Rosseau,Coleridge,Hazlitt,and Chateaubriand,etc.The method that word-painting uses is the method of literature.It strongly affects the status of modern artists,the school of art(modern impressionism,modern descriptive school,etc.)and the forms of art.
