摘要

When Georges Bataille published the novel,Story of the Eye,he was in the first important transition period of his life from religion to secularity.The content of the novel is closely related to the author's upbringing and the formation of his early thinking.On the one hand,through the reflection on the duality of the sacred,Bataille consciously combines the character who represents purity with the character who represents sex and defilement,and himself participates in the plots as a firstperson narrator of loneliness and anguish.On the other hand,the depiction of the desecration and the representation of violent sacrifices fully expresses his critique of the hypocrisy of Christianity and his denial of the utilitarian principle of the secular world.
