论中国写意水墨对美国抽象表现主义艺术的启示

Inspiration of Chinese Freehand Brushwork on American Abstract Expressionism Art

源自中国的写意水墨画以"泼墨"的表现手法与"空"的艺术美学吸引了许多美国现当代艺术家与艺术史家,成为美国现代艺术,尤其是抽象表现主义艺术研习的主要对象,是中华审美文化对西方现当代艺术发展形成影响的重要依据。通过探讨中国绘画在美国的传播与接受状况,本文试图展现跨文化美术史研究视域下美国现代抽象表现主义艺术对中国写意水墨绘画的理解与误读,从中回溯写意水墨在现当代艺术实践中所具备的前瞻性与价值所在。

The freehand brushwork from China has attracted many American modern and contemporary artists and art historians with the technique of“splashing ink”and the aesthetics of“emptiness”.It has become the knowledge of American modern art,especially abstract expressionists to learn,and an important evidence for the influence of Chinese aesthetic on the development of Western modern and contemporary art.By reviewing the dissemination and acceptance of Chinese painting in the United States,this article attempts to argue that the understanding and misunderstanding of Chinese freehand brushwork by American modern abstract expressionists from the perspective of transcultural history of art,and traces the farsightedness and value of freehand brushwork in modern and contemporary art practice.
