摘要 盖耶借助对书名为何是一种现代美学史的说明,以开放的框架展开哲学美学的探讨,认为美学学科的核心问题是对某种特定经验的集中关注,而非聚焦于一种语言或言说一个过于狭小的概念领域。其次,将美学学科视为对柏拉图艺术之批评的整体性回应,回顾亚里士多德、贺拉斯、锡德尼、休姆、培根、康德、谢林等人的美学观,简要梳理美学史的发展脉络。同时,基于审美经验、情感影响、自由游戏三个观念相互纠缠的复杂形式及综合性价值,质疑任何把审美经验与艺术和其他人类经验与产品的形式割裂开的现代观念,表明应当分析现代美学史中诸概念的复杂性与联系,而非对其进行简化与区分。 First of all,with the help of the explanation of why the book title is"a"history of modern aesthetic,Professor Guyer launches the discussion of philosophical aesthetics in an open framework,thinking that the core of the subject is a concern with a certain kind of experience,and that an exclusive focus on a special kind of language or discourse is too narrow a conception of the field.Secondly,the discipline of aesthetics can be thought of as the collective response to Plato’s criticisms of many forms of art,reviews the aesthetic views of Aristotle,Horace,Sidney,Hume,Bacon,Kant and Schelling,and briefly sort out the development of aesthetic history.At the same time,based on the complex forms and comprehensive values of the three concepts of aesthetic experience,emotional impact and free play,this introduction questions any modern concept that separates aesthetic experience from art and other human experience from the form of products,it shows that we should analyze the complexity of the concepts in the history of modern aesthetics instead of simplifying and separating them.
