With the outbreak of COVID-19 in the world,it has a major impact on the economic and energy development of the world and China,and the upstream and downstream of the coal industry have been hit hard.The impact of the new crown epidemic on China’s domestic and foreign coal markets is expounded.Looking forward to the trend of the coal market in the later period,suggestions are made to promote the smooth operation of the coal market.The study believes that the impact of the epidemic on coal demand is far greater than the production end,which has exacerbated the loosening of domestic and foreign coal market supply and demand,resulting in a sharp decline in market prices in the short term.It is recommended that coal enterprises strengthen analysis and judgment of the coal market,insist on organizing production on demand,accelerate structural adjustment,transformation and upgrading,strengthen internal management of the enterprise,and jointly maintain the smooth operation of the coal market.
