南洋理工大学图书馆学习空间建设特点探析

Analysis of the Characteristics of Library Learning Space Construction in Nanyang Technological University

从"智慧地球"概念的提出到对智慧化教学环境的重视,学习空间成为教育领域的重要关注点。当前关于我国高校学习空间的研究起步较晚,具有成果数量少、侧重基础教育且对高校教师关注较少的特点。新加坡南洋理工大学图书馆经过近十年的学习空间建设,其在理念和空间上打破传统了教室范畴,以学习空间塑造为主;服务上设专人及时协助师生,强调专业化;设备和观念上保持与时俱进,以个性化服务促进跨学科人才培养;功能上强调多元化,服务教学、科研、创新创业等;连通性上充分利用社交媒体等平台,连接校内、校际和国际资源;反馈上注重师生体验,及时追踪师生反馈并进行反思。据此,对我国高校学习空间建设的建议是:打造个性化场域,打破传统教室空间,实时关注师生反馈,注重功能多元化等等。

From the concept of"SMART Earth"to the attention of the smart teaching environment,learning space has become an important focus in the field of education.The research on learning space in colleges and universities at present started late in China,which has the characteristics of less achievements,attaching more attention to basic education,and less attention to university faculty.After nearly ten years’construction of learning space,the library of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore breaks through the traditional classroom category in concept and space,and focuses on the shaping of learning space.It assigns special personnel to assist teachers and students in time and emphasize specialization in service.The library keeps pace with current times in terms of equipment and concept and promotes interdisciplinary talents training with personalized service.It emphasizes functional diversification,services teaching,scientific research,innovation and entrepreneurship.The library makes full use of social media and other platforms to connect on-campus,intercollegiate and international resources.And it also focuses on the experience of teachers and students,and timely tracks their feedback and reflects on it.Accordingly,the suggestions for the construction of learning space in Chinese universities are as follows:to create a personalized field,to break down the traditional classroom space,to follow the feedback from teachers and students in real time,and finally to focus on functional diversification.
