新冠肺炎疫情的发生为大学生爱国主义教育的开展提供了现实场景。重大疫情下,以习近平总书记关于疫情防控工作的重要讲话精神、疫情防控工作的阶段性成果、社会个体在疫情应对中的行动等为主要内容,开展大学生爱国主义教育,有助于帮助其加深对习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、中华文明传统价值的理解以及对社会主义制度优越性的感知,增强"四个自信",形成爱国和爱党、爱社会主义相统一的真挚情感。大学生爱国主义教育工作是一项系统性工程,需要各部门协同推进,以舆论宣传加深爱国认知,以课程思政强化爱国情感,以榜样教育推动爱国实践。

The outbreak of the COVID-19 provides a realistic scenario for patriotism education of college students. In the case of the major epidemic,we use the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on epidemic prevention and control,the phased achievementof epidemic prevention and control,and the actions of individuals in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 as the main content to conduct the patriotism education for college students. It is conducive to help college students deepen their understanding of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,deepen their understanding of the traditional values of Chinese civilization,and the perception of the superiority of the socialist system. It is also helpful to enhance stronger confidence in the path,theory,system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and to form a sincere feeling of uniting patriotism with love for the Chinese Communist Party and socialism. Patriotism education for college students is a systematic project,which needs to be promoted by all departments,to deepen patriotic cognition by publicity,to strengthen patriotic emotion by curriculum ideology and politics,and to promote patriotic practice by exemplary education.
