中国在数千年社会发展经历的十几次变局中,都在变局之中开创了新局,并在长时间成为世界文明格局的中心。中华文化在五千年前经历了开天辟地,在公元3世纪至13世纪中华文明发展是顶天立地,在近代落伍后又不断觉醒,于1949年中华人民共和国成立是改天换地,而今经历了40多年改革开放的巨变已是惊天动地。人类社会的变局是由人主导的,人是变局的主体,变局的发展过程是人类文化不断传承发展的文化史。读懂中国的变局史就读懂了中华文化,也就是对中华文化有了"自知之明"。中华人文思想、科技教育促进了中世纪西方世界的发展,近代西方反超中国。中国人痛定思痛,真正意识到躺在厚重的五千年文化资源上,却不去创造性地转化、创新性地发展,就必然陷入"落后挨打"的局面。在新文化运动、新民主主义革命后,从孔夫子到孙中山的传统文化,得到了认真的总结,中国人有了文化自觉。当下正经历百年未有之大变局,经济全球化凸显了"人类命运共同体意识"。当今,"人类命运共同体意识"是引领世界发展的"公共产品"。中国人民传承中华优秀传统文化而发展的"世界精神"给全球的发展不断创造价值,且还在继续创造更大价值。
