Solomon Marcus,a Romanian Marxist scholar,emphasized the leading role of structural linguistics in contemporary natural sciences,and humanities and social sciences.He highlighted the basic role of mathematical logic in structural linguistics or structuralist methods,and carried out certain humanities critical practices in this basis,thus giving a great contribution to contemporary digital humanities methods from a Marxist methodological standpoint.
