错误与扰乱:重新解读电影《飞越疯人院》中的悲剧与政治

Errors and Disturbance:Re-Interpretation of Tragedy and Politics in the Movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

摘要 影片《飞越疯人院》总是让人想到福柯和他的《疯癫与文明》,认为二者之间有着太多的相似性和互文性,对影片的分析和评价多集中于运用福柯的疯癫与权力理论,分析疯人院作为社会的隐喻性存在,从而揭露美国工业社会下对人性的摧残、压抑和折磨。本文以当代激进马克思主义理论家朗西埃的歧义政治哲学为主要观照视点,从三个方面重新解读电影《飞越疯人院》中所包含的悲剧与政治:一、缩影还是救赎:为什么聚焦疯人院?二、错误与扰乱:这才是政治的起点。三、比利的自杀:一个情节的政治效力。通过这三方面对影片中更多深层次的潜在因素进行激活,从而获得一些意想不到的结论和分析。 The film"Flying over the Madhouse"always reminds us of Foucault and his book Madness and Civilization as they have so many similarities and intertextuality.Most analyses of the film were focused on the use of Foucault’s theory of madness and power and regarded the madhouse as a metaphorical society.The aim is to reveal the destruction,repression and torture of human nature in the industrial society of America.In this paper the ambiguous political philosophy of contemporary radical Marxist theorist Jacques Ranciereis used to reinterpret the tragedy and politics in this film from three aspects:firstly,the microcosm or the redemption:why focusing on the madhouse?Secondly,mistakes and disturbances:the starting point of politics.Thirdly,Billy’s suicide:political effects of a plot.Through these three aspects,potential factors in the film are activated,presenting unexpected conclusions and understandings.
