How to Represent Reality in the Jungle of Illusion:Contemporary Significances of Aesthetic Reflection Theory

新时期的审美反映论,以马克思主义为理论基础,同时兼顾了文学艺术的认识性与审美性,并与实践论相结合,形成了独特的理论品格。在特定历史条件下,审美反映论的内涵发生着异变,学界对其存在着理论上的误读,并由此导致过度的批评与质疑。审美反映论实际上就是马克思所说的艺术地掌握世界的方式问题,当代美学的发展从未能够绕过这一视域,相反,如何把握"现实"和"实在界"的问题仍是当代美学的核心问题,亦是审美反映论提出和研究的问题。在中国美学界正确认识以王元骧为代表的审美反映论,对当代美学建设具有重要的意义。

Aesthetic reflection theory in the new era has developed unique theoretical characteristics.Based on Marxism,its examination of cognitive and aesthetic qualities of literature and art takes into account theory of practice.The orientation of aesthetic reflection theory in a different historical context has changed.This change was misinterpreted and led to negative criticism and questioning.Yet it is another expression of Marx’s idea of the role of art in mastering the world.Contemporary aesthetics cannot ignore this function.On the contrary,human control of the real world is still a core issue in contemporary aesthetics and aesthetic reflection theory.It is therefore very important in constructing contemporary aesthetics to understand the aesthetic reflection theory presented by Wang Yuanxiang.
