传统文化中,法气关系是古代"天人合一""天人相分"思想在"法""气"层面的显现和展开。二者关系依其本体、质用论的分野表现为相表里、互致用和相独立、互不预两大流派。其相表里、互致用的关系可分为"气"是"法"的基础和本体、"法"是"气"的体现和运用、"法"与"气"相互利益且互动感应三个层次;其相独立、互不预的关系包括"元""气"等是自然的、德法政治讲究时数及"法"与"气"各有运行规律而互不干预几个方面。
