从中国共产党成立到大革命失败,党内投机分子问题随着中国共产党组织扩张和革命形势发展而滋生,并在“白色恐怖”时期呈爆发趋势,成为当时中国共产党亟待解决的问题之一。党内投机分子问题严重危害中国共产党的组织、纪律以及党群关系,充分认识这一问题并采取相应的斗争策略是中国共产党遭受重创后涅槃重生的关键,更是中国共产党应对艰苦时局的必要之举。对党内投机分子的认识与斗争反映了中国共产党建党理论和实践的深化,见证了中国共产党成长为一个以组织纪律严明著称的强大革命政党。

From the founding of the CPC tothe defeat of the Great Revolution,opportunists in the Party escalated,along with the expansion of the CPC organization and the revolutionary situation,into one of the CPC's pressing problems tobe solved,as itburstoutduringthe“White Terror”period.The problem seriously jeopardizedthe organizatin,discipline and relations between the party and the masses.Fully understanding this problem and adopting orresponding strategies to combat it,especially the CPC's strengthening its organization and discipline to cope with the dificult times,was the key to the rebirth of the Party after it had been severely damaged.The CPC's early understanding of and struggle against politial speculators in the Party rllected the deepening of the CPC's party construction both in theory and practice,and witnessed how the CPC grew into a strong revolutionary party known for its tightly-knit organization and strict discipline.
