纪律严明是党的优良传统和政治优势。百年来,党在领导人民进行革命、建设、改革的各个历史时期,始终坚持用铁的纪律管党治党,逐渐形成、发展和完善党的纪律,不断推进党的纪律建设。特别是党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央将纪律建设纳入党的建设总体布局,摆在更加重要和突出的位置,推动纪律建设进入成熟发展的新阶段和“快车道”。百年来,党的纪律建设经历了从萌芽、发展到不断完善、成熟的过程,积累了宝贵的理论和实践经验,对新时代进一步加强党的纪律建设具有重要的借鉴意义。

Strict discipline is the CPC’s fine tradition and political advantage.In all historical periods when the Party led the people in revolution,construction and reform,the CPC always adhered to administrating the Party with strict discipline,developed and improved the Party’s discipline,and continually promoted its discipline construction.Especially since the 18 th Party Congress,the CPC Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jin-ping at its core,has incorporated discipline into the overall layout of party construction,placed it in a more important and prominent position,and promoted discipline construction into a new stage and the“fast track”of maturity and development.Over the past century,the Party’s discipline construction has gone through the process from germination and development to continual improvement and maturity and accumulated valuable theoretical and practical experience,which is of great significance for strengthening the Party’s discipline construction in the new era.
