The Development of Party Member Standards in the Past Seventy Years since the Founding of the PRC:From the Perspective of the Party’s Political Construction

新中国成立70年来,中国共产党发生了巨大变化,但提高和完善党员标准始终是党的建设的核心议题,是党的先锋队性质的本质要求,是完成党的历史使命的内在要求,是发挥党的政治优势的必然回应。纵观70年来党员标准演变,笃守政治信仰是党员标准第一位的问题,中国共产党是马克思主义政党,以共产主义为最终奋斗目标,这是党员的最高价值追求和不可动摇的精神支柱;党员要站稳政治立场,坚定站在无产阶级和人民大众的立场上;党员要有鲜明的政治态度,根本在于对待人民群众的思想感情;党员必须具备马克思主义政党的政治品德,代表中国先进文化的前进方向,是社会风尚和价值理念的引领者。

The past seventy years since the founding of the PRC witnessed dramatic changes of the CPC,while improving thestandards of Party members has always been the core issue of party construction,the essential requirement of the vanguard nature of the Party,theinherent requirement of fulfilling the Party’s historical mission,and the inevitable response to giving full play to the Party’s political advantages.Throughout the development of party member standards in the past seventy years,it is the utmost for the Party member to adhere to the politicalbelief,namely the CPC is a Marxist party which takes communism as the ultimate goal.This is the Party member’s highest value pursuit andunshakable spiritual support;the party member should stand firm in the political position of the proletariat and the people;the Party membershould have a distinctive political attitude or fundamentally the for-the-people emotions and thoughts;the Party member must have the politicalvirtues of a Marxist political party which represent the direction of China’s advanced culture and lead the values of social trends.
