Post-Marxist Utopia:A Review of Magical Marxism

梅里菲尔德的魔幻马克思主义缘起于对现存世界和现存西方马克思主义的不满。不同于批判分析的国外马克思主义,它受魔幻现实主义影响,注重创造而非发现,强调非理性而不是理性,核心是“非阶级”的“新共产主义”。人们在意识觉醒的基础上进行想象的建构,基于战斗的乐观主义实行持久积极的颠覆,通过摈弃孤岛思维、聚焦时空政治促进不同运动的联合。从本质上看,魔幻马克思主义是一种无政府主义倾向的后马克思主义,摒弃了共产主义生成的历史逻辑,实际是理想化的乌托邦愿景,但它实现了对马克思情感观的再发展,让马克思主义更灵活开放、更富吸引力。

Andy Merrifield's magical Marxism originated from dissatisfaction with the existing world and existing Marxism.Different from the critical analysis of foreign Marxism,it is influenced by magical realism and focuses on creation rather than discovery,emphasizing irrationality rather than rationality,and its core is the"non-class"new communism.People construct imagination on the basis of awakening consciousness,implement persistent and positive subversion based on militant optimism,and promote the unity of different movements by abandoning island thinking and focusing on time and space politics.In essence,magical Marxism is a post-Marxism with anarchist tendencies,which abandons the historical logic of the generation of communism and is actually an idealized utopian vision,but it realizes the re-development of Marx's emotional view,making Marxism more flexible,open and attractive.
