《政治经济学批判》和《资本论》是马克思先后计划并写作的两部巨著。《政治经济学批判》的写作和《政治经济学批判。第一分册》的出版均早于《资本论》的写作和出版。《政治经济学批判》的写作计划包含了《资本论》的内容,《政治经济学批判》的写作过程孕育了《资本论》。《资本论》是《政治经济学批判》“资本一般”相关内容演化发育的结果。《政治经济学批判。第一分册》的续篇是《资本论》,《资本论》的“续篇”是《政治经济学批判》“资本”册除“资本一般”篇外的其他篇和其他册。《政治经济学批判》和《资本论》在写作计划、考察对象、逻辑行程、叙述风格和完成程度上存在着明显的区别。《政治经济学批判》不是《资本论》的“准备著作”或“手稿”,而是一部未完成的、比《资本论》内容更全面的研究资本主义经济制度的巨著。

"A Critique of Political Economy"and"Das Kapital"are two masterpieces planned and written by Marx successively.The writing of"A Critique of Political Economy"and the publication of the first volume of"A Critique of Political Economy"were earlier than that of"Das Kapital".The writing plan of the former was included in the latter’s content and gave birth to the latter in its writing process.The sequelto the first volume"A Critique of Political Economyis"Das Kapital",and the"sequel"to"Das Kapital"is the other chapters and volumes of"A Critique of Political Economy"except for the"General"chapter.There are obvious differences between the two works in terms of writing plan,logical schedule,narrative style and degree of completion.Therefore,"A Critique of Political Economy"is not a"preparatory work"or"manuscript"of"Das Kapital",but an unfinished,more comprehensive study of the capitalist economic system than"Das Kapital".
