Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(补中益气汤)was created by LI Dongyuan.It was first seen in Differentiation on Endogenous and ExogenousDiseases,and it is the representative formula of the tonifying Qi and uprising Yang method and relieving fever with drugs of sweet flavor and warm nature method.Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is widely used in clinic.This article explains that Buzhong Yiqi Decoction can exert immunomodulatory,anti-tumor,anti-inflammatory and other effects through various mechanisms of action,it can also affect gastrointestinal function,cardiac function and muscle tension.And at present,it is widely used in the clinical treatment of diseases,such as respiratory system,digestive system,urinary system,gynecology,etc.with definite curative effect.The authors hope this article can provide some reference for clinical application of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and lay a foundation for further research.
