Tibetan medicine stands in the forest of world medicine with its unique theoretical system.It is an important component of traditional Chinese medicine.Tibetan medicine has its own unique understanding of the anatomical structure and physiological function of the liver as well as the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic liver disease.This article summarizes the understanding of Tibetan medicine on the structure and function of liver and the treatment of chronic liver disease.It aims to provide a reference for the study of Tibetan medicine in the treatment of chronic liver disease.
