Current Research Status of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis

强直性脊柱炎(ankylosing spondylitis,AS)是一种能导致人体多个系统受累的自身免疫性疾病,主要侵犯脊柱并累及骶髂关节、周围关节和脊柱旁软组织,可严重影响患者的生活质量。针灸作为中医学的一部分,治疗AS方法多样,该文将从针刺疗法、灸法和中医综合疗法三大方面对AS的治疗现状进行阐述。

Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is an autoimmune disease that can lead to multiple system involvement.It mainly invades the spine and involves sacroiliac joints,peripheral joints and paraspinal soft tissues,which can seriously affect the quality of life of patients.Acupuncture and moxibustion,as a part of traditional Chinese medicine,can treat AS in various ways.This article will elaborate the treatment status of AS from three aspects:acupuncture therapy,moxibustion and integrated traditional Chinese medicine therapy.
